Removed Group B (Samples 31-43) from incubator

• • Samples 44-60 were put into incubator 5 days after Samples 31-43 and will be removed on 2/17/21

Calibrated turbidimeter with distilled water, shows 0.623 NTU error so subtracted 0.623 NTU from raw data

Transferred sample from sample vial to turbidimeter cuvette, recorded 3 turbidity measurements and took the average, transferred sample back to sample vial

• • Repeat for Samples 31-43

Recorded observations

• • Most samples retained color from Luria broth and had many small particles distributed throughout Luria broth

  • Samples 31, 32, 34, and 42 were transparent and had few particles except for a film on surface of Luria broth

  • Samples 33, 35 and 41 were transparent and had few particles except for large particles settled on bottom of Luria broth

  • Samples 36, 38, 39, 40 and 43 had many particles of all sizes throughout Luria broth
