Inoculated bacteria from vial onto premade agar plate to incubate for 4 days

Rinsed 30 of the PET strips (Group B, samples 31-60) with distilled water and ethanol over a sieve

Dried PET strips with a Kimwipe and recorded each mass in Excel to the nearest ten thousandth

• • Lost one PET strip but used an extra one I prepared

Placed each strip in a box in a 5 by 6 grid to keep track of each individual sample

Placed grid with PET strips under UVC light

Using glass sample vials (not plastic) so bacteria only degrades PET strips, not the vial

Currently only have 26 glass vials

Hope to incubate all 60 samples simultaneously in 3 different incubators for each temperature point, if possible need at least 34 more vials

Confirmed that I have access to turbidimeter
