Watch the video on the left, or have a look at the pictures below:
Try to complete the 'Animate' activity before doing this one.
Go to https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/editor/
You will see the main 'edit' board again.
At the bottom, click the letter you would like to add sound to.
You should see your existing 'pieces' showing in the middle section.
Near the top, you need to click the tab saying 'Sounds' with a little speaker next to it.
At the bottom of the page, click the green icon.
Choose the magnifying glass.
Pick any sound you like from the library.
I chose Drum Boing because it was a fun sound!
You now need to go back, click 'Code' and then choose the 'Sound' section.
Locate the 'Play sound ..... until done'
Drag it in and then choose your new sound from the drop down menu.
Notice how the pieces are connecting together?
You've created a two step instruction!
Click the green flag to start.
Try clicking the letter you added sound to.
Notice how it changes colour and makes a sound?
Well Done!
Try adding sounds to all the letters :-)
