Plan ahead!
Know who the individual or group are. What are their interests? What are their needs and aims?
Are you helping them with English, maths or cooking for example?
Diversified Resources
Think about making something based on topics that will interest the learner.
If they like football, make a football based quiz or a presentation with football pictures.
Communication
How does the young person communicate?
Will you need multimedia tools, worksheets or interactive quizzes?
Will you need less words and more symbols and pictures?
Aims
What is the resource helping someone to achieve?
Will it help them with spellings or saying words?
Is the game designed to teach about banking and money?
