The 2nd tier picking of white tea in China. What I have noticed a lot of is that many ordinary white teas that are produced in Taiwan don't use the buds. But I have noticed that the more buds that are used and the more furry the tea, the sweeter it can be, and it can be brewed both heavily or lightly and still extract a lot of aroma and aftertaste.

Since most people enjoy their white tea when its brewed very lightly, packed with aroma and floral notes, this tea can easily be brewed at a ratio of 1:30

Yes, this tea is from the north of Thailand! And no, not all white tea has to be brewed delicately. I am someone that usually does not enjoy the orange flavors that come from tea infused with orange. But this tea has a sort of orange like flavor that feels balanced and authentically "tea". Usually when you brew lot of Shou Mei you get used to the very dry leaves that are used to get this darker color liquer, but this tea is different. I was surprised to see a white like this one have tippy, furry buds paired with the dry leaves. Brewing this tea is quite a pleasant experience, especially for those who like upfront sweet orange notes that are much different than the orange infused teas that are on the market.
