From first looking at this tea you can tell how buddy it is. The distinct, furry orange look comes from the picking method used. For the most part higher quality tea should have fur including green, white, some oolongs, and reds. This tea can be what you make of it, but rarely do I ever taste bitterness from it. It can be sweet, subtle, obvious, strong, dark, just a solid red tea that you can't mess up.

What used to be one of my favorite red teas, this dianhong is very similar to the one above it. Actually, you probably cant tell it apart from the one above! The biggest way to differentiate these two teas is in the aroma that is produced, Dianhong just has a very unique aroma that is pretty exclusive to the name. These two red teas have an even higher quality version where the teas are curled up.

Description:
This tea is not one that I am selling, I merely put it here as a comparison to the ones above. This is also a tea that I purchased at one point or another. You can tell the leaves are awfully small, low amounts of furry buds. When I brewed this tea I brewed it exactly the same way as the ones above it, and found that the first three brews from this tea was like a rollercoaster going down. The color faded away and so did the sweet taste. The ones above feel unkillable and resistant to the hot water that soaks it.

You will notice that this tea can get quite dark and the leaves sort of look similar to the Thailand white tea that I offer. I think many people have heard of Darjeeling as a red tea production areas, and I hope people don't look down on it. This tea was one that I found while I was searching for Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong tea. It is the budget option I offer for those who like Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong, as the ones I offer can get pretty pricy (Wild grown, Traditionally smoked etc. etc.)

Wild tea is something that usually heavily increases the price of a tea, but its good to understand the different types of wild tea that there are as to not get confused. Wild tea is something that is usually highly praised, some people assume wild, means good. This is not the case. Wild plants are not always going to be good, its more like every plant is a gamble on weather it is suitable to be a good tea. A lot of effort goes into picking and trying the tea from these wild plants. Wild plants leaves are usually more unbalanced, long and not uniform, but if done correctly, the taste has a sort of delicate flavor that is hard to forget.
Wild Release: A tea plant that was planted by people, and for the most part not managed and picked every so often.
Wild Grown: A tea plant that was completely found in the wild, this tea can be very rare and expensive.

On the topic of wild tea, here is one that is very similar, but also very different than the one above it. This tea is completely wild grown, and traditionally smoked. I mentioned above that I have ran into people that do not like the smoky taste of some teas, and I continuously urge them to try this tea. Usually they admit that the smoked flavors in this tea are not overbearing, a tea that shows the true nature of what it means to smoke a tea.
