Usually I don't personally drink that much Liubao, but one day a friend of mine said he was looking for some, and searching I went. As I am someone that does not really enjoy the stink that comes from Shou puerh, I have become quite sensitive to it in aged, black teas. This here liubao is one that is a mystert to mea, I know some people will love it, and thats why its here. It certainly has a little bit of that post fermeted taste feel to it, so its similar (I use the term loosely) to shou, but still distinctly Liubao.

2000's Liubao

Description:

The best LiuBao I have had to date. My friend that I mentioned set me on my journey to hunt down LiuBao raved about its ability to both heat up and simultaneously cool down. And this tea does just that. This LiuBao is extremely clean for a black tea. It does not have any of that aged tea stink that I associate with shou (wodui aroma).

2010 Betel Nut Liubao

Price: 65¢/gram

Description:

It is most expensive Liubao option here. I hear it tastes like Betel Nut, I'm not one to play around too creatively with flavor notes but thats what I have been told it tastes like!
