Longjing green tea has 3 main production regions in Zhejiang. The most famous and expensive is in 西湖, 杭州 Xihu, Hangzhou accounting for 10% of Longjing production. Next up is 錢塘，杭州 Qiantang, Hangzhou 30%, the other 60% is bordering this region: Yuezhou. The 2024 杭州龍井 Hangzhou Longjing that I'm offering falls under Qiantang! It has a bit of a beany aroma

On Brewing Methods:

In general I find that LongJing can be a very high skill ceiling tea. There are times where I like to brew it strong, high ratio, boiling water flash brews; bringing out all the nuttiness in the tea and satisfy a certain craving. But other times I brew it lightly, low ratio, well controlled, cooler water, longer brew time, allowing a gentle aroma.
