The Intelligent Machine Research Lab (IMRL) at the University of Macau is a scientific research unit that is devoted to conducting both fundamental and applied research in mobile robotics. We exploit a variety of sensors (cameras, lidars, GPS, IMU, etc) to fulfill sensing, perception, SLAM, navigation, and sensor fusion tasks. Check out our Project page and Github source code repository. Welcome to join us if you're interested in these areas and solving real-world problems. Have fun🎸
🍭We are always looking for Ph.D. program applicants (currently only Ph.D. program applicants) with strong interest, passion, and motivation in mobile robotics and autonomous systems. Admission to our Ph.D. program has been highly selective and competitive recently. Admission priorities are largely given to candidates with Master's degrees, especially to those who have published papers at major robotics/machine learning/computer vision conferences or journals. Considering we need to develop real-time systems, proficiency in C/C++ programming and ROS is a plus. To apply, kindly send me (huikong@um.edu.mo) your resume by email (with at least two reference letters). Each accepted applicant will be fully funded for four years (sometimes up to five years depending on the available funding).
