Dear Colleagues/ Faculty Mentors,
Greetings.
Hope this message finds you in good health and spirit.
On behalf of the Himalayan Policy Research Consortium (HPRConsortium), I want to invite you and your graduate students (Masters and/or Ph.D. students) to submit their abstracts for the 4th Graduate Students Research Panel (Virtual), Sunday, July 28th, 2024, 6 AM to 11 AM USA Mountain Time.
The Graduate Students Research Panel will be held completely virtually. The idea of this free virtual event is to provide an opportunity for graduate students and their faculty mentors to share their research with peers from North America, the Asian sub-continent, and beyond. We welcome research topics on social sciences or any interface it has with other disciplines and encourage empirical work with policy relevance.
We hope the graduate seminar would allow young graduate scholars (and their faculty mentors) to have access to collaborative opportunities, receive feedback on their work, and be exposed to the possibility of mentorship. The HPRC consortium will also recognize and provide a certificate for the best graduate student presentation.
Please note that the deadline to submit the abstract for the panel is July 3rd, 2024, by 11:59 PM USA Mountain Time. To ensure that the graduate students’ papers receive full consideration, we would advise you to strongly encourage your students to submit their abstracts before the deadline. Below is the detailed call for proposals.
