How to Get your Research Projects Developed and Funded

Dr. José A. Pagán (Professor and Chair, Department of Public Health Policy and Management, School of Global Public Health, New York University)

Answering many important research questions requires funding to pay assistants, conduct interviews, buy specialized data or purchase statistical research software. In this faculty development workshop you will learn how to develop and grow your research agenda so that you can focus on answering important questions with an appropriate level of resources. Topics covered will include research team composition, how to build partnerships with community members and organizations, project workflow and internal/external funding. The ideas discussed in this workshop will help get a sense of where you are going with your research work, see the big picture and understand the potential impact of your work.
