Sometimes we need detailed logs to troubleshoot an issue. By default, logs are set to a setting that captures less logs to keep stored logs at a manageable state. Therefore, there may be a time when you may be requested to change the config file so NetGateway can capture detail logs for troubleshooting purposes.
Stop the KYOCERA NetGateway service
Stop the KYOCERA NetGateway Auto-Recovery Service service
Run Notepad as administrator
From NotePad open appsettings.json in C:\Program Files\Kyocera\NetGateway\netgw\conf or the location you specified during the install of the NetGateway
Note: You need to specify All files in the Open file dialog as Notepad defaults to .txt
Change "Default": "Error", to "Default": "Debug",
Change "System": "Error", to "System": "Information",
Change "Microsoft": "Error", to "Microsoft": "Information",
Save the changes
You need to have administrator permissions to change and save the settings so say say if there is a prompt about that
