What We Do:

•  GUIDE students through the writing process; 

• SHARE our favorite writing strategies and resources; 

• PROVIDE samples for students to reference; 

• TEACH students grammar, proofreading, and correct citation style; 

• HELP students set goals for continuous improvement. 

Our Services:

One-on-One

Students get 45 minutes of individual, one-on-one help with writing assignments.

Online Live Tutoring Using Microsoft Teams: 

Once the appointment is scheduled, student will receive an invitation to a meeting with their tutor on Microsoft Teams. They can share documents while they meet with the tutor. 

Writing Lab:

Designed for independents writers, our Writing Lab provides tutor-supervised independent writing space.

eTutoring: 

Students who prefer to receive feedback on writing assignment drafts (for any class, at any stage of the writing process) via email can submit a request to the Writing Center for etutoring by clicking here.

Preparing For Your Appointment: 

Your tutor will need:

• Your assignment instructions 

• Your essay draft 

• Any other materials or professor’s feedback that might be useful 

• Any problem areas or questions/concerns you have
