The Department of External Affairs' Raid/Riot Moderation Branch is responsible for the moderation of raids and riots, issuing strikes and compensations to correct violations of the Hostile Incursions Directive. The branch operates under an acronym that lays out the steps in viewing violations to justly issue a strike and/or compensation.
strikes
Strikes are the direct consequences of violating regulations, categorized into three severities: Minor Strike, Moderate Strike, and Severe Strike. Each severity of strike has an assigned value called "mark". Each side may reach up to eight marks, which, upon reaching the capacity, will result in a victory for the opposing side.
The specific values of strikes are described below:
Minor Strike - one mark.
Moderate Strike - three marks.
Severe Strike - five marks.
There are two "milestones" that may be reached, each resulting in a consequence for the side reaching it. The exact consequence is at the discretion of the moderation team.
Milestone One - Reached upon two marks.
Milestone Two - Reached upon five marks.
compensations
Compensation is a means of correcting the misdeeds of the opposing side by rewarding the afflicted side with a boost. Rewards and whether compensation should be given are at the discretion of the moderation team.
Some rewards may be:
One life juggernaut.
Increased weapon capacity.
SCP transfer.
One life weapon.
