Question: What inspired you to enter into Veterinary Anatomy?

Answer: Actually, I born and brought up in the remote village of Bankura district of West Bengal. From my childhood I was too much interested to the domestic animal like cattle, dog, cat etc. In my house there were near about 42 cattle for agriculture purpose. From the very beginning I like animals and decided to become veterinary doctor to serve ane treatment of the beloved animals. After that I did master degree and Ph.D in veterinary anatomy because this subject is actually basic and fundamental which is pillar of the foundation of veterinary education.

Question: Since how long, you been into this scientific field and in which cities you have been associated for administration, entrepreneurship, teaching, research, commercial and training programs?

Answer: Above more than 30 years I have been attached in this scientific field specially in veterinary anatomy, histology and embryology.

Question: What are your future plans for administration, entrepreneurship, teaching, research and training programs in Veterinary Anatomy?

Answer: My future plan is actually to establish an institute where remain teaching, research and big hospital with hygienic farm.

Question: What kind of businesses can be started in Veterinary Anatomy? What minimum infrastructure would it need?

Answer: Veterinary education, research and training programme for the farmers.

Answer: 1. The syllabus should be more rather less material. A detailed syllabus is valuable learning tool for student and lesions there initial anxieties about the course.

Answer: Veterinary anatomy deals with the study of the biological structure. Veterinary anatomy is concerned with the structure and form of the organs and tissue of principal domestic animals and birds. This subject is studied on comparative basis.

Question: How can universities produce revolutionary PhD and Post Doc thesis and dissertations on Veterinary Anatomy? What are your recommendations to improve the academic standards?

Answer: A thesis is a critically written scholarly piece of research work. Typically, it is submitted by students graduating from a masters programme. The purpose of a thesis is to allow students to show care their knowledge and expertise within the subject matter they have been studying as part of the programme.

A dissertation is a comparatively lengthier piece of scholarly writing that accounts the research work throughout the doctoral programme. A researcher earns the Ph.D after submitting and defending his/her dissertation. It includes all information about the original research or expanded research on a new or existing topic conducted by Ph.D candidate.

University can produce Ph.D, post-doctoral thesis and dissertation by doing research work on different project. The projects are funded by govt. and private sectors.

Standard of education can be improved by the guidance of most senior professors and experienced research workers and hard working students and modern instruments.

Answer: After completion of course of anatomy the students can apply in govt. job and also private jobs. The student get govt. job through public service commissions, union public service commission. Teaching job can get in different universities; like agricultural university, veterinary university, krishi vigyan kendra, research station, IVRI by after qualifying the NET. Again the students get job in Municipal Corporation, panchayet and also hospital through the interview.

Answer: In govt. sector- veterinary officer, doctor in hospitals, BLDO, Director veterinary service, Joint-director of veterinary service, Assistant director of veterinary service, veterinary officer in corporation, veterinary inspection officer in corporation, research scientist in ICAR, DRDO,ICMR, animal husbandry commissioner etc.

In teaching in university/college- Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professor, Research Assistant, Research Associate, Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, Principal Scientist, Junior Scientist etc.

In private sector- doctor in hospital, veterinary doctor in different farm like cattle farm, pig farm, canine hospital, goatery, poultry farm, duck farm, rabbit farm and small animal farm.

Question: What according to you are the Top 5 major challenges (research problems) which need to be resolved urgently by world’s scientists in the area of Veterinary Anatomy?

Answer: I have done research problem in different aspects such as gross anatomy and histology, anatomy of leopards, research problem on titar birds, quail birds, ducks, poultry birds, Grey Giant rabbits, in female genitalia of black Bengal goat, respiratory system of Garole sheep, radiological anatomy of Golden Retriever dog, gross anatomical and histological study of liver in Gungroo pigs, microscopic study of cerebellum of post-hatch broiler chicks, study on glycogen body of post-hatch broiler chicks, effect of Selenium-enriched yeast supplement on gross morphology and morphometry of dmsll intestine during post-hatch chickens, estimation of plasma minerals after extirpation of preen gland in Grey Partidges, effect of IHP-250c(zicox) on lesion scores on Eimeria Necatrix infected chick, efficacy and effect on immunity of zicox in Eimeria necatrix infected broiler chicks, histology of europygial glands, estimation of alkaline phosphatise, glutamic oxalo-acetic transaminase and lactic dehydrogenase after extirpation of preen gland in Grey patridges, faecal calcium content after extirpation of europygial gland, gross anatomical changes in bursa of fabricus in post-hatch Japanese quail, anatomical study of humerus of wolf, studies on brachial plexus and distribution in rabbit etc.
