Space Force

Origin Date: December 20, 2019

The discovery and exploration of space has proved crucial to success in American history. Space has been essential to the way modern militaries conduct operations; by investing in space and its capabilities operations have increased in effectiveness, which has made the U.S. military better informed and more lethal. In addition to military aspects, space is also crucial for day-to-day lives of citizens with things such as satellites which connect every corner of the globe. With all of these ideas in mind, on December 20, 2019, the National Defense authorization Act was signed into law, creating the newest U.S. military branch, the Space Force.
