We celebrated Elsie Flatau's 90th birthday with a float (large trailer) in a parade winding it's way through Perham on Saturday evening June 30th, during their Summer Festival Celebration. Sunday, July 1st, started with worship at Grandma Elsie's church, then an Open House, Program, Buffet Supper, and Dance at the Blue Horizon. Monday and Tuesday, July 2nd and 3rd included activities around the picnic site at Devils Lake: Turkey barbecue, softball, volleyball tournament, kids fishing, swimming, fish fry and golf at a local course. Wednesday, we celebrate July 4th with a pot luck and the annual horse shoe competition.
