1940s Albert & Elsie Family Photos
From "Our Roots & Branches - The family of Ernest Christian Herman Flatau & Mabel Reggear" Written by Ray Flatau - When Mother got sick and had to go to the state hospital we had hard times with very little food and no adults to take care of us. I went to live with Uncle Albert and Aunt Elsie when I was in the fourth grade. When I was about 11 years old I went to work and live with my brother, Harry, who had a farm near Perham, Minn.
The location of most of the photos from 1945 are taken at the farm owned by Theodore Flatau, then his son Albert Flatau, and then owned by Albert's son, Vernon Flatau.
