BUILD

This is a very simple build - perfect for a novice or a pro. You solder all of the jacks to one side, then the other...and you're through! Process is the same for the 5 or 10, only the size and number of jacks differs

Back Jacks

Place jacks on board, over jack symbol (letting the hex logo show) (fig 1)
Use faceplate to hold jacks in place (nut optional) and flip board (Fig 2)
Solder the pins circled in red in figure 3
Flip the board, remove nuts (if needed, and faceplate)

Front Jacks

Place jacks on board, over jack symbol
The longer center hole gets pins from both directions
Add faceplate (you can add nuts here as well if you would like)
Flip the board and solder all 3 points, as circled in blue in figure 4
Add nuts if you haven't already

Faceplate Direction and Installation

There are two ways to mount the faceplate. The standard way has the jacks sit just above the rail, which seems to work with most cases (fig 5)
The tall option (fig 6) allows for a cm of space between the rail and connectors, which is better for bulkier cases.
To install, remove screws from case or already-installed modules, add Transportation, and replace screws.
Route cables as needed, mark with dry erase or permanent markers
