In football, we kick, throw, run, and work as a team to get the ball to the goal.

Field Goal with a Catapult

• Place the adapted catapult on the ground or table, aiming toward the field goal posts.
  
  

• Put the football (or foam ball) in the launch basket.
  
  

• The player pushes the lever, presses a switch, or pulls a handle to launch the ball toward the posts.
  
  

• This lets players “kick” a field goal without having to run or kick.
  
  

Throwing with a Robotic Quarterback (Switch Adapted)

• The robotic quarterback toy is loaded with a foam football.
  
  

• The player presses an accessibility switch to make the quarterback “throw” the ball.
  
  

• Aim the quarterback toward a target, hoop, or receiver.
  
  

• The switch lets players control the throw without needing grip strength or arm movement.
  
  

Moving Target of a Football Player

• A large football player cutout or inflatable is placed on a rolling cart, track, or motorized base.
  
  

• The target moves side to side or forward/backward.
  
  

• Players throw or launch the ball (by hand, ramp, or switch device) to try to hit the moving target.
  
  

• The motion adds challenge and fun, like throwing to a real player in a game.
