Hockey with Wheelchair-Attached Sticks
Each player has a lightweight hockey stick securely attached to the front or side of their wheelchair.
A foam or plastic puck/ball is placed on the floor in front of the players.
Players move their chairs forward, backward, or turn to push, tap, or guide the puck toward the goal.
The stick stays in place so players don’t need to hold or lift it—movement of the chair controls the stick’s motion.
Teams work together to pass, block, and score, just like in floor hockey.
Curling with a Ramp
Place the curling ramp so the top is near the player’s chair or standing position and the bottom points toward the target area (the “house” or scoring circles marked on the floor).
Put the floor curling stone (or modified rolling puck) at the top of the ramp.
The player pushes or releases the stone so it rolls down the ramp toward the target.
Players can aim by turning the ramp left or right before releasing.
The goal is to get the stone as close as possible to the center of the target, just like in curling on ice.
