From Wendy Nyen's Website: Back to Home turf Liz Squillace Had an Exhibit of her paintings called Roadwork at Day One Skate Shop in Black Rock. She had a great turnout for the show. Liz paints in a bright easygoing style that mixes a comic element with clean ,bright, brushwork. I really like a view of the desert from the road. I could imagine that road trip. I felt I was seeing the desert through Squillace’s eyes.
