Gaming the system is how it sounds! We made an abundance of different Game Shows!
My group had to make a game that involved trivia and chance. They way we did that is we made a spinning wheel with written different prizes the one you see at carnivals and sutch, and we had created disney themed questions. We took inspiration from wheel of fortune for out spinning wheel.
When me and my group were building the stan for our wheel, we hit a lot of obstacles. From wood glue taking to long to screws not wanting to go into the wood it got frustrating a lot of times at one point I drilled my own hand, because I was trying to force the screw to go into the wood. We showed grit and got it done with a little bit of professional help.
I don't know how to put myself in other's shoes. During the project I was frustrated a lot of the time, especially the last week before the exhibition so i think i closed myself so i could tent empathize with others.
I don't think I disrespected anyone to an extreme point. It got hard to respect my group and not explode in there face, the more frustrated I got. A lot of the time I wanted to do the project myself but then that defeats the purpose of a group project and gaining those skills.
The first two weeks after Thanksgiving break I didn't do anything that would help my group until the last week when we had almost everything else but the stand. As we got closer I started to realize that we were not going to be able to finish in time so I had to ask my dad who was a professional at this kind of stuff to help me with building the stand. We were able to finish everything in the end.
I took a risk with prizes, because early on I knew that not many kids and it was going to be mostly adults, so I tried to convince my group to change some of the prizes to better suit our audience. In the end we kept what was originally written and I was lucky that there were no external displeasure from the adults.

When I comes to collaboration it's a little hard for me with other people. I'm a person who wants to control everything and do everything myself. I think I had a better experience with this project, it got frustrating sometimes with the people I have worked with but it worked out fairly well.
I didn't really feel the need to communicate with my group before exhibition my group had it all planned out. But during exhibition I saw a group member getting nervous and I took over and my favorite part was when I stopped the audience with the question
My group was the ones to create the question while I looked over at the questions saw what didn't looks wright or what looks boring and I did some editing. I knew that we had 24 to start with but one group member did the majority of them herself so we were able to have double that during exhibition so i made for more variety and more excitable during the game.
I humanities we research the history of game shows. What had happened to game shows. Who stated it execrate. While in multimedia i learned through trial and error the most efficient way to build something.
