Dwayne Noren - Assistant Coach
I grew up on a farm in southern MN by St. James. Hunting and shooting firearms was a way of life growing up. I farmed with my dad and brother until 1990 at which time my family moved to Plymouth where I had a 29 year IT career working for Musicland, Best Buy, Accenture, and Forius, retiring in 2019.
I shot my first trap targets when I was 16 at the St. James Gun Club. I joined the Amateur Trapshooting Association in 1973 and have been a competitor at all MN State Trapshooting tournaments since with the exception of 1982 (and I hope to make it to many more). I have competed at the Spring Grand American (Arizona) and Grand American trapshoots (Vandalia, OH and Sparta, IL) numerous times. I have been lucky enough to have won numerous trophies at these events and selected for the MN All State Veterans team twice.
I have been a member of Park Sportsmen’s Club since 1992. I have served and continue to serve as a club director since 1994 and I have served as club Secretary for about 20 years, during this tenure. I have been a part of High School trapshooting at PSC since 2011. I am married and we have two children that have blessed us with five grandchildren. I have helped coach my grandson Mason who is a member of the White Bear Lake HS trap team.
