Jazz Band

The Hershey Jazz Band is available to any student grades 9-12 wishing to increase their knowledge and abilities in music of jazz, rock, Latin, and other “popular” music styles. We perform at school concerts, local festivals, and community events. Rehearsals occur before school on Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning in January. Students will rehearse and perform a challenging and diverse set of music while engaging with performance practice and jazz history. Membership is by audition, but all students are encouraged to audition.
