It overlaps with Legacy of the Great Ones for the Spend Energy and Level Hero Artifact tasks and also with Guardians of the Outlands for the Spend Energy and Hero Souls Stones tasks. Whether it's worth investing more into the event depends on how much you like what's in the store. In 2025 this event did not take place.

A 3 day event held annually around St. Patrick’s Day on March the 17th. In 2025 it starts on the 14th. Combine the Spend Energy task with another event to get some extra dolls, you'll need 12,000 energy. Other than that there are a few easy tasks you'll need to save some resources for:

[Hero Wars Guide] Archdemon Returns
A 7 day event held annually in late March in honor of the Hero Wars service launch. In 2026 it starts on Monday March 23 but there is an exciting BIRTHDAY LIVE STREAM on Friday the 20th at 4 PM UTC. There is a quiz, minigame, cake and of course lots of gifts. Everything you'd expect at a good celebration. And best of all you're on the receiving end and it's Nexters who are being lavish.
There will be a new minigame every day of the Anniversary event. Just look for a present or something like it on the campaign maps. There is also the battle against the Archdemon to recover the cake. If you happen to miss any of the pieces, you can always fight the Archdemon multiple times the next day. So even if you might lose some of the daily rewards, you should always grab the final reward on the last day.
The special objects on Anniversary Island are very useful for the Byrna event. For 60 moves, you can obtain a total of 230,000 Valor Coins and 10,000 Exclusive Skin Coins. If Byrna is a hero you really want, picking all of these up is well worth it. There are also 5 generators on small islands to the right side:
Monday March 23, Great Enchantment Rune generator, last 7 days.
Tuesday March 24, Large Skin Stone Chest generator, last 6 days.
Wednesday March 25, Primal Catalyst generator, last 5 days.
Thursday March 26, Absolute Artifact Chest generator, last 4 days.
Friday March 27, Elemental Catalyst generator, last 3 days.
You need 15,000 Valor Coins per generator to activate them and upgrade them to level 2. Make sure you do this as fast as possible each day. The other 3 levels require various amounts of Sapphire Medallions to upgrade them. So choose beforehand in which generators you want to invest further and have the Sapphire Medallions ready.

A three day event held annually around April 1st to coincide with April Fools’ Day. It overlaps with Ascension to Asgard for the Spend Energy task and also with Legacy of the Great Ones for the Spend Energy and Level Hero Artifact tasks. You should also complete the 800 Hero Souls Stones task. Whether it's worth investing more into the event depends on how much you like what's in the store.

A three day event held annually around Easter. It's not a good event, you only get some avatars and Easter Keys for the random draws. Only invest in tasks that overlap with other events, by itself Spring Rebirth is just not worth it. We also have a new island with rather poor rewards.

HWC - Forgotten Treasury Mysterious Island 2025
It's another gacha event with 32 vases with random prizes and 3 big rewards. Although the grand prizes are a bit better than at Spring Rebirth and the Archaeologist’s Tools are easier to get than the Easter keys, it's still not a good event. Just grab the tools you can obtain from logging in and completing adventures. The energy quests can be combined with other events to obtain some extra recourses for free.
The Preparing for the Expedition quest gives bonus Emeralds when you buy some and combined with the ×5 Emerald Sale this makes it effectively a ×6 Sale. So if you're going to buy any Emeralds, do it on April 22.
And we have another new island with rather poor rewards. The Vases on the map give the same rewards as the Forgotten Treasury. So there are 32 possible rewards amongst which the 3 grand prizes.

The Quiz is split into three stages with increasing rewards. The first 10 questions make up the easy stage, rewarding 1 Lore Seeker’s Bag per correct answer. Questions 11–15 are the medium stage, with 3 Bags per correct answer. From question 16 onward, the hard stage begins, granting 5 Bags per correct answer.
To maximize rewards, answer the first 15 questions one at a time, and only then move on to the 10-ticket difficult questions. If you score full marks on all questions, you’ll earn 4,800 Quiz Points and up to 1,150 Lore Seeker’s Bags.

This year it starts on Thursday July 24 and ends 8 days later at the end of Monday July 31. There will be three other active events on Saturday the 26th. It's recommended that all big spending for Summer Fest is done that day to maximize your rewards.
Summer Festival is one of the best events in Hero Wars. It happens once per year in June or July.
To take full advantage of the event you'll need to save up a few resources, namely:
20,000 Energy
1,000 hero Soul Stones
250,000 Emeralds (you can earn up to 140,700 Emeralds with the Apiary)
Of course you can enjoy the Summer Festival even without these resources, but this event is worth the investment if you can manage to gather it all. At least that used to be the case before they increased the amount of Emeralds needed from 65k to 250k. Still you can earn up to 140k with the Apiary, so keep that in mind when you plan how much you'll spend.
"The Shop remains open until August 1, 2 AM UTC. Shortly after the Shop closes,
your remaining Honey and Summer Festival Coins will be converted into Honey Caskets:
440 Honey = 1 Honey Casket --- 1 Summer Festival Coin = 10 Honey Caskets."
The Summer Festival Coin rewards have been removed from the mini-games. The bad luck protection at the 3rd, 9th and 24th use of Honey at the Beehive has also been removed. The drop rate of Coins for Honey is still around 10%. Overall it is now much harder to get any of the new Summer Festival Coins. So think twice before spending them, but don't forget to spend your Summer Festival Coins before the event is over or you'll just en up with Honey Caskets. It's well worth spending 15 Summer Festival Coins and 4,500 Honey to upgrade the Emerald Apiary on the Summer Fest Mysterious Island. You can earn up to 140k Emeralds with this investment, the earlier you do the upgrades the more you can earn. your remaining Pirate Keys will be converted into Buccaneer Stash Chests:

This is another gacha-style event with 32 vases containing random prizes and 3 grand rewards. The grand prizes are slightly worse than those from The Forgotten Treasury, but the Pirate Keys are easier to obtain than the Archaeologist’s Tools from that event.
Overall, it's still not a great event and not worth investing Emeralds into. Just collect the free keys from the easy daily tasks. To do this, you’ll need per day:
2,500 Energy
50 Summoning Spheres
1,250,000 Gold
Avoid spending extra at the Tower—the two keys available there are not worth the 100-200 and 400-800 Emeralds required. You can, however, buy five extra Arena attempts for 50 Emeralds to snag one more key—that's about as cheap as it gets, and even then, it’s debatable if it’s worth it.
Tip: If you take advantage of the time difference between global and local reset times, you can complete the daily tasks eight times instead of seven during the event.
There’s also a Treasure Hunt:
At Pirate Cove for 1,000,000 Gold – worth it
At Cutthroat for 2,500 Emeralds – not worth it
At Corsair Lagoon for real money – absolutely not worth it
To fully complete the event, you’ll need a total of:
20,000 Energy
400 Summoning Spheres
10,000,000 Gold
Blackbeard’s Stash (the pirate pig) offers 20,000 Emeralds for a very good price—better than a ×7 sale. It also counts toward the Fat Holds quest, granting an extra 2,600 Emeralds and 27 Pirate Keys. As a bonus, you can get 32 Bottled Energy through the Emerald Boom quest in Emerald Waterfalls. The drawback is that you must first collect 286 Pirate Keys, which cannot be done without spending money and/or Emeralds. By comparison, last year the offer was 10,000 Emeralds and required only 167 Pirate Keys, making it far more accessible. I guess their greed has ruined this part of the event.

Of course you can enjoy the Spooky Festival even without these, but this event is worth the investment if you can manage to gather it all.

It's not a good event Island, the big rewards aren't that interesting and you only get some extra Chip Keys for the random draws. Unless you really want a specific reward, you can safely skip this map entirely.

For the Treasure Hunt:
Icebound Inlet is worth spending 1,000,000 Gold on every day.
Polar Cove is only worth spending 2,500 Emeralds on if you at least reach the 5th gift with the 15 Bottled Energy. But even then, ask yourself if you really want to do that seven times. You're better off spending 2,300 Emeralds in the Tower instead for Master of the Snowy Peaks (see below).
Snowy Lagoon is not worth €17 per day — or any day, honestly. You’d spend over €100 across the seven days, and it’s not even Winterfest yet.
For the quests:
50 Hero Soul Stones per day is easy, so if they want to hand out over 20k Essence of the Elements for it, great.
Don’t spend or buy extra Emeralds just for this event — simply collect the free rewards from what you’re already doing.
3,000 Energy per day is also easy, and giving over 4,000 Skin Stones for it is a great deal. Just remember you’ll need 14,000 Energy during Winterfest.
Master of the Snowy Peaks gives a lot of Energy for opening all Tower chests. It’s basically as good as buying the 120 Energy for 100 Emeralds, plus you get the extra Gold, Equipment Fragments, and Tower Coins. Combined with the Energy-for-Skin-Stones quest, it’s well worth doing. Keep in mind you’ll want to save most of your Emeralds for Winterfest itself.
Don’t spend extra in the Outlands for these tiny rune rewards and baubles — just open the same number of chests you normally do.
Opening Artifact Chests is tempting, but you’ll probably need 200 Artifact Chest Keys during Winterfest. If you use too many now, you’ll likely regret it later this month.

Winterfest is one of the best events in Hero Wars. It happens once a year, at the end of December.
To get the most out of it, you’ll want to save up a few resources in advance :
400 Artifact Chest Keys (at 4 per day, that’s about 100 days — start saving after Summer Fest to be safe)
26,000 Energy
450,000 Emeralds (this used to be only 60,000)
Of course, you can still enjoy Winterfest without all of these, but the event is absolutely worth preparing for if you can manage to gather the Keys and Energy. The Emeralds are only really needed if you’re aiming for the full rewards, including Winterfest Baubles to decorate the guild’s Winterfest Tree. You don’t need anywhere near that many Emeralds to have fun, but spending around 10,000–30,000 does make participation much easier and more enjoyable.
Most importantly, keep in mind that Winterfest usually introduces a new hero, and these heroes are often very strong. There will be no new hero during Winterfest 2025. The new Winterfest skins (among other rewards) will be sold for Gingerbread Cookies, so there will be a Winterfest Shop. Make sure to click the Festival Sale advertisement on the right side every day to pick up some free Cookies and Baubles. Winter Festival Mysterious Island 2025
The Winter Lanterns offer great value for the investment required. You should buy any upgrades that don’t require Gingerbread Cookies as soon as possible. Since the Cookies are mostly obtained with real money, you’ll have to decide for yourself whether they’re worth it. That said, fully upgrading the Emerald Lantern offers better value than any standard Emerald sale. As for the map below the Winter Lanterns, none of the towers are worth the Explorer’s Moves. You’re better off picking up the Emerald Towers on the earlier map this month to complete the Winterfest requirement of 50 Explorer’s Moves.
