I strongly recommend using the 2nd attack team, it clears all three stages easily.
You'll see far more defenses tailored to stop the Dante team.

As for the other quests, if you intend to use Faceless, now is a good time to invest in his Glyps, Rank and Evolution. But if he's not a hero you are or will be using, just complete the Energy, Gold and Soul Atrium quests. These together with the Brawl itself will give you plenty of Brawl Coins to do some shopping with.

The teams from Hero Wars Guide and/or Olympus work just fine. If you meet a mirror team in te matchups, swap Keira for Lara or just use the HWC team to begin with.

Unless you plan on using Elmir because you really like him, he doesn't seem worth investing in so far. I do not recommend using extra resources in this event other than the Soul Crystals.

The 1st Olympus team seems best, it works against both Amira (mage) teams and Dante (dodge) teams. It can be countered by the 6th (most bottom) Helios team.

A couple of standard Lyria teams are listed on the left. The 1st team in the list seems to clear all opponents effortlessly, even against mirror matches. At the bottom of the list in 6th place you'll find a defense team that'll counter this team and most other popular attack teams.

Lyria is a great hero and an effective answer to many problems when facing dodge-heavy opponents such as Dante, Aurora, Qing Mao, Nebula, Heidi, and Yasmine. However, once Yasmine activates her ultimate and begins chaining attacks, Lyria’s aura seems to have limited effect. Additionally, when Lyria is not paired with other Undead heroes, enemy Heidis often remain out of range of her aura and are largely unaffected by it. That being said, Lyria is absolutely worth investing in. She brings a lot of versatility to your team—especially if you favour physical damage dealers. She synergizes well with other warriors and archers and is a strong addition to any roster.

A couple of Celeste teams are listed on the left. The 4th attack team in the list can clear nearly all opponents effortlessly—but be cautious in mirror matches. Since many players are running a Lyria + Lara/Ishmael + Sebastian setup, the 5th defense team with Amira and Alvanor is an excellent counter.

Celeste is a great hero—both as a damage-dealing mage and as a healer. She’s an excellent counter to Yasmine, since her Purifying Sphere not only cleanses poison from an ally but also grants 5 seconds of immunity against negative effects. Celeste can elevate a magic-based team with her Magic Attack artifact, which often triggers thanks to her ultimate requiring only 50% energy. At the same time, she can sustain a physical-based team through her healing. To truly make her shine, however, she needs an armour pet for patronage, as both her health and armour are low. All in all, Celeste is one of the most versatile heroes you can build around—and she is absolutely worth investing in.

A few standard Corvus teams are listed on the left. The 1st team in the list can clear most opponents with ease but may struggle against certain magic setups. The 2nd and 3rd attack teams perform similarly. At the bottom of the list, in 6th place, you’ll find a defense team that effectively counters Lyria + Lara combinations—but it’s vulnerable to Isaac. 

Corvus is a solid tank, valuable against both Osh and Maestro. His Altar of Souls skill makes him an excellent counter to heroes who deal many small hits, such as Yasmine and Heidi. He also pairs well with the increasingly popular Lyria. If you haven’t yet settled on three tanks, Corvus is definitely worth adding to your roster.

Jet is a weak healer, but he has a few interesting support abilities to make up for it. He boosts Physical Attack and Critical Hit chance while reducing enemy Armour and Health Regeneration. This makes him very effective against Astaroth and Rufus. However, there are plenty of ways to deal with those two nowadays, and there are stronger support and healing heroes available. Unless you simply like the goblin, Jet isn’t really worth investing in.

The 1st team in the list can clear quite a few opponents with ease but will struggle against Isaac setups. The 2nd attack team performs similarly. The 3rd team easily kills the 1st and 2nd teams — however it’s vulnerable to other physical teams.

Cascade is a very interesting support mage. Not only can he block resurrection abilities (he can even kill Rufus!), but he also converts all auto-attacks from Intelligence heroes into magic damage. Since magic attacks can’t be dodged, he’s a great counter to dodge teams. So if you prefer magic over brawn and never quite got around to building Lyria, you don’t really need to anymore. Cascade also deals a lot of damage when paired with Judge, Krista, and/or Lars thanks to the strong synergy between their abilities.

The 1st team in the list can clear quite a few opponents with ease but will struggle against magic setups. However if you swap Fafnir for Isaac you can take out most of those too. The 2nd and 3rd attack teams are great for killing any Lyria compositions without Isaac.

Aidan is possibly the best healer in the game right now—and not because of his raw healing, which is actually quite modest. His strength comes from his purple ability, Bonds of Flame. This ability shackles Aidan to the frontmost ally and shares their health pool, while also boosting armor and magic defense. As a result, heroes that normally can’t survive on the front line can function as tanks, or existing tanks become much harder to kill. Good examples include Lyria, Amira, Alvanor, Aurora, Electra, and Corvus. If you haven't invested in Aidan yet, it's about time you started.

Electra looks to be the new meta tank, but even without her current popularity she’s a great addition to any magic team. She redirects damage from her allies to herself, shields herself from harm (making her immune to control effects), and even reflects damage back at enemies. You really can’t go wrong making Electra one of your three main tanks.

The 1st team in the list can clear most opponents with ease but will struggle against Fluffy setups. However if you swap to the second team for the Fluffy/magic defenses, you should have no problems clearing those as well.

Kayla is a fun warrior to play, with the unique ability to jump behind the enemy team and attack the backline. She’s seeing more use lately because she counters certain variations of the Fluffy meta teams. Overall, she’s a solid warrior — but not one you absolutely need if you have other priorities for your resources. Perhaps if Kayla finally gets an armor penetration skin, she’ll really start to shine.
