Emily Hughes-Northeast Community College

Emily was a key contributor for the overall and initial success of Eagle Ridge Academy soccer. During her time at Eagle Ridge Academy, Emily played in 41 games, tallied 108 points, 45 goals, 79 shots, 18 assists, and 20 steals. She was honored as a team captain for the Warriors and won multiple first-team all-conference honors through her career. Unfortunately, Emily's career was cut short by one year due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, and was looking forward to a memorable season and pushing towards a CHSAA State Championship.

Emily has this to say about playing college soccer, "I am trying to keep my head high and realize I am going to be living my childhood dream in a few months of playing collegiate soccer,” Hughes said. “Everything I worked so hard for was going to finally pay off. I just wanted to make all my peers proud, and myself proud.”

Emily will continue her education and soccer aspirations at Northeast Community College for the 2020-2021 season.

Kenia Lara-Colorado Northwestern Community College

Kenia helped establish the first three years of Eagle Ridge Academy soccer. During her time, she played in 26 games, primarily as a midfielder, tallied 5 points, 1 goal, 2 shots, and provided 3 assists. She as instrumental on providing stability to the Eagle Ridge Academy's girl's soccer team.

Northwestern Community College had this to say about Kenia, "Lara, a player with box-to-box ability and ambition, will make an immediate impact in wide space for the CNCC contingent. An alumnae of Eagle Ridge Academy, Lara doubles Spartan lines to ERA Soccer, joining fellow Warrior and Spartan Soccer signee Eric Flores Jr. in Craig this fall."

Kenia will continue her studies and soccer career at Colorado Northwestern Community College.

Anna Ranzinger-Bethel College

Anna Ranzinger played soccer at Eagle Ridge Academy for three consecutive years. She started the inception of the program in 2016-2017 academic year. Anna provided leadership and great soccer skills to help push her team from 4-9 team in 2017, 8-7 in 2018, and a push for an undefeated conference season in 2019.

Anna will be playing soccer at Bethel College in North Newton, KS for the 2019-2020 year.
