World Rabie's Day 2025 By HEART
📅 Date: 28 September 2025
📍 Location: Cox’s Bazar District (Teknaf, Ukhiya, Moheshkhali, and surrounding communities)
Organized by: HEART – Humanitarian Enhancement Aid for Resilient Transformation
In alignment with the global call to eliminate rabies and promote the One Health approach, HEART is proud to observe World Rabies Day 2025 with the theme: “From Awareness to Action.” This campaign aims to raise community-level understanding of rabies prevention and take real steps toward eliminating rabies-related deaths in crisis-prone, underserved, and coastal areas.
Rabies continues to be a public health concern in Bangladesh, particularly in rural and disaster-affected zones where both human and animal healthcare systems are limited. Through this event, HEART will mobilize youth leaders, local authorities, health professionals, veterinarians, and community members to work collectively toward rabies prevention.
