Bangladesh stands at the frontline of global climate vulnerability—facing frequent cyclones, rising seas, and mass displacement. These challenges deepen inequalities for children, women, and marginalized youth.
At the same time, youth-led organizations and grassroots networks are pioneering solutions—from renewable energy projects to dropout recovery programs. Yet they remain underfunded and underrepresented in global decision-making.
This statement is our collective call for climate justice, economic empowerment, and systemic reform, aligned with the Global 3Zeros Vision:
♻ Zero Carbonization – urgent climate action & renewable transition
💼 Zero Unemployment – job creation through innovation & green economy
🌾 Zero Poverty – equitable access to resources, education, and opportunities

Demand: Strengthen legal protections & survivor support mechanisms.
💼 Zero Unemployment
Youth unemployment remains above 10%.
Demand: Create 1 million green jobs through public–private–CSO partnerships.
🎓 Education & Dropout Reduction
Rising dropouts in climate-hit areas post-COVID.
Demand: Expand digital learning & scholarships for coastal youth.
🛑 Anti-Corruption & System Reform
Corruption limits youth access to resources.
Demand: Establish independent oversight with youth representation.
🚀 Support for SMEs & Social Enterprises
Many youth-led start-ups collapse within two years due to lack of finance.
