Healthy Minds, Happy Students is an international eTwinning project designed for students aged 11 to 15, running from October to June. The project highlights the importance of mental health and overall well-being, recognizing that these aspects are essential for young people’s personal growth, academic success, and happiness in everyday life.
The main goal is to encourage students to adopt healthy habits, develop empathy, and build strong, positive relationships with their peers. Throughout the school year, participants will engage in a series of carefully planned monthly activities such as creating collaborative posters, producing digital art, storytelling, mindfulness challenges, and taking part in virtual exchanges with partner schools. These activities will help students learn how to identify and express their emotions, cope with stress in constructive ways, and provide support to one another in different situations.
A special focus is placed on the use of creative digital tools, which not only give students innovative opportunities for self-expression but also strengthen their digital skills. By collaborating with peers from different countries, students will gain intercultural awareness, broaden their perspectives, and enhance their self-confidence.
In this way, the project promotes a balanced and healthy lifestyle while guiding students toward becoming more mindful, resilient, and optimistic individuals. Ultimately, the aim is to empower young learners to understand the value of caring for themselves and others, laying the foundation for long-term mental health and well-being.
