Parents marked real are "real" horses as found in common myth and legends or literature. Stallions can have an unlimited number of foals per year and mares one foal annually. I will list years the mare has had foals instead of her open years. Aging, non-aging and antique (eternal) foals are allowed. Breedings are open only to fantasy/decorator equids. Mix and match these as you have need or like. See the Fantasy Genetic Research Project page for explanations of HCR's fantasy color genetics. I would like to see the foal exhibit some coloring similar to its sire or dam, if possible.
Stallions
Ljómi (Skinfaxi <r> x Gardrofa <r>) Antique (eternal), golden blue, nCy/nAu/nPch/nMt, Mythic Norse Horse. Ljómi's name means "radiance" in Old Norse. It is his sire, Skinfaxi, who pulls Dagr's chariot across the sky each morning to bring daytime. He is a half-brother to Mythic Norse Horse, Hofvarpnir, through his dam. Like the horses on his dam's side, he is strong and swift through the air, over land, and on the sea. Current genetic testing shows Ljómi is heterozygous for, golden and/or blue. He is also heterozygous for the polychroma and the metallic gene modifiers. He will throw, blue, gold, or blue/gold foals, with or without the metallic modifier gene. He has sired a couple of fine unicorn colts with our Unicorn mare below. Photo show placed. OF Breyer 1105. Open to any aged foals.
