Elayanne Rucker Parker has been employed by MNPS for several years as a Secretary where she also has served as the Girls Head Basketball Coach. She is a graduate of Tennessee State University with a B.S. Degree in Clothing and Textile with a minor in Social Science. She also completed all necessary hours at Tennessee Tech Nashville in Cosmetology and received her license. Mrs. Parker graduated from East Nashville High school where she served many years on the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association. She is a milliner making ladies dress hats. She has one daughter, Talisa Watkins, and one grandson, Maurice Wilhoite. In her spare time, she loves embroidery, sewing and teaching others to sew.
