The finals for the Harrogate Bowling Association Merit Competition took place on the Bilton Working Men's Club green. The semi-finalists being :

Alderman W W Stott, Mr E Kitching, Mr W E Simpson and Mr H Hirst.

Hirst and Stott played in the final, Stott being the winner by 21 - 16.
