Leeds Mercury - 18 April 1936 : Mr Dickinson, of 9, Grove Road Harrogate, builder, left £45,105 (net personality £4,126) He left 10s. a week for life to his old and valued servant, Thomas Hardy. "as a small mark of my appreciat:cn of hs service," and he directed his trustees to allow his oldes! tcnants, Mrs. Hannah Stephenson and Mrs Jane Carver, to live in the houses they occupy free of all rent and duty for their lives.
