Volunteers at Hand In Hand Community CIC will play a crucial role in supporting individuals and families in their mental and emotional wellbeing journey. Their responsibilities will include but to limited to:
Assisting in Family Coaching Sessions: Volunteers may support trained coaches by helping create a welcoming environment, ensuring participants are comfortable, and assisting with materials or activities during sessions.
Facilitating Group Workshops for Families: Volunteers will help facilitate or co-facilitate group workshops, contributing to discussions, guiding group activities, and supporting families as they learn valuable tools for mental wellness and family unity.
Supporting Parenting Programs: Volunteers can assist in organising and running parenting workshops, helping parents access resources, and providing a supportive presence as they work through the challenges of raising emotionally healthy children.
Providing Support for Family Mental Wellbeing Programs: Volunteers may work alongside families to provide emotional support and encouragement, fostering a sense of community, and assisting in program logistics to ensure smooth delivery.
Engaging with Online Courses/Workshops: Volunteers will help manage and support online course/workshop participants, provide technical assistance, or contribute to the creation and dissemination of educational resources.
As a volunteer, you will help families access vital support and tools to strengthen their mental and emotional wellbeing, promote healthy relationships, and create a nurturing family environment.
