First Day of School

I am planning on using these to introduce myself and also how things will run in my classroom. I tried to make it colorful so my students wouldn't just toss it to the side and not look over it.

I believe that a respectful and effective classroom starts with a good relationship between students and the teacher.My hopes with this introductory letter is that they see I care about how they are doing in and out of my classroom. I want them to know I want to see them succeed and will do everything I can to try and support them. I hope with this knowledge, they won't be nervous to ask for help which in return will boost their grades and confidence.

I have also created a parent-teacher contact sheet. That way parents know how they can talk to me and also I can get their information to contact them. I believe parents should be contacted about both the positive and negatives aspects of their child's behavior and grades.
