2025: Dish Duty 

In 2025, the challenge was to create a flat ride that changed rider’s elevation by a set height and changed their rotation by a set angle. We made the decision create a swinging ride themed to a sponge scrubbing dishes. 

We were split into 3 sub-teams: mechanical, electrical, and safety analysis. Mechanical, which I was a part of, was responsible for structural design, structural analysis, CAD modeling, CAD drawing, 3D printing, and machining. Electrical was responsible for electrical diagrams, power, Arduino, programming, motorization, and timing of systems. Safety was responsible for assessing all possible areas of danger, designing safety features, and analyzing dynamics to ensure rider comfort and safety.
