Ride Engineering Competition 

I was a part of the University at Buffalo Theme Park Engineering Club’s team for The Ride Engineering Competition 2024 and 2025.  The challenge was to create a full working scale model of a ride and have it operate for the duration of the competition as well as produce a full project charter and ASTM documentation of the theoretical full-sized ride.  All preparations were done over the course of the spring semester.  I was on our Mechanical subteam and focused on CAD modeling and machining.  All teams were responsible for contribution to the full professional documentation, verifying ASTM compliance, full rider experience, theming, and contributing to other sub-teams when necessary.
