While we do strive to make every customer happy and fulfill every request, there are certain limitations for every department/team. We get a lot of requests from customers regarding jewelry repair, appraisals, valuations, etc. Some things to keep in mind when customers ask these questions are
Fine Jewelry Repair Requests
1. Determine if the item is from a recent Customer order
2. Obtain an image, if possible
3. Send an email to the FJ Team / Product Information - Jewelry
4. Please don't make any commitments until FJ replies
5. Typically the FJ Team needs to evaluate the repair before providing a quote
6. If approved and it's a recent Customer order, please create a Return Label
7. If not from a recent order, the Customer will need to ship the item to Gump's
⭐For Specific Product Information and Sales - Please refer Customers to the Fine Jewelry Dept.
✨The cost of fine jewelry orders can vary. Anything over $1000 requires a signature for delivery. As well as Estate pieces, even if they are under $1000✨
We no longer provide Appraisals or Valuation Services for Fine Jewelry, Vintage or Antique items.
We no longer acquire or buy back merchandise. Even if it originally came from Gump's years ago.
It's important to provide Customers the direct main number and store hours. Fine Jewelry Associates may be assisting our in-store Clients.
