My Name is Guadalupe Dominguez. I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I attended Chicago Public Schools from K-12. I am currently a student at Trinity Christian College. My major is in Elementary Education and I will also obtain a Middle Grades Science Endorsement

As an educator I aspire to positively impact the learning of my students. I believe that we as individuals, develop our very own way of teaching ,but many of our fundamental ideas can be similar. An educator should teach intentionally and with sensitivity towards the students. I believe in a teaching philosophy that involves discipline with a loving heart, structure, one that builds not only on knowledgeable students in the books, but also one that can effectively interact with others in a respectful manner. I embrace a philosophy that cares for the well being of a child as a whole, one that considers each area of development as of high importance. A school as well as a classroom should both be encouraging and of motivation for a child in order for learning to take place. The students should feel welcome, identify and value.
