In this week, we tried to do some examples of GeoGebra applets, like how to add checkboxes, how to customize the toolbar, how to visualize an inequality of two variables……Throughout the process, we learned many tricks and techniques of making GeoGebra that we can use to create an interesting class and design all kinds of assignments for students.
After class, we consolidate what we have learned by doing exercises after class. We are impressed by the use of polar coordinates in geogebra, and the shape of the image will change depending on the input parameters.
Using this technique, we can design the dynamic images we want into our classroom to better help students understand the properties of function images, or we can design some interesting polar coordinates images such as Archimedes spiral or limacon to arouse their interest in mathematical exploration.
