In this chapter we get Valeria. It is important that she bonds with Saxon 1 time by chapter 5 for a Diamond later on. Simply fight within 2-3 tiles of each other in combat (spells do not count). You should also try and get the bond of Cassandra and either Riordan/Alden - otherwise, a sapphire will cost you 4000G in chapter 5.
