Celebrity Concerts

Our 2019 Celebrity Concert, which is our 70th Consecutive Celebrity Concert since 1949, welcomed back Mark Le Brocq, one of the UK's most distinguished Tenors. He first came in 2009, our 60th Concert!!

For our 30th Celebrity Artiste in 1979 was a youthful, Lesley Garrett, now of course our much loved , Lesley Garrett, CBE


Our 2018 Celebrity Concert was with the World Famous Grimethorpe Colliery Band (http://www.grimethorpeband.co.uk/ ) and took place at Burton Town Hall on Saturday 16th June


Gresley Male Voice has been proud to invite Celebrity Artist(e)s each year , to join us in Grand Concerts in the Burton-on-Trent Town Hall and at the St Peter and St Paul's Catholic Church, Swadlincote (2016). The first celebrity was Heddle Nash in 1949 and 1950 followed by Owen Brannigan and Gwen Catley in the following years.
