This GC-MS is coupled to the MICMOC system throught the GORBI interface designed to provide the transfer of volatile organic compounds from the MICMOC system to the gas injection module of the GC.

This GC includes two split/splitless injectors. One injector is connected to two gas injection loops allowing a double injection of a same sample. The second injector is coupled to a AI1310 autosampler or to a FrontierLab pyrolyzer.

A cryogenic trap is placed in the owen to allow the cooling of a column section.

The ion trap mass spectrometer is an orbitrap technology providing a resolution of 60000 at 120 amu.
