The Greenwood Skating Club supports the development of new coaches by hiring skaters who are working on their certification to help run our CanSkate program.

Program Assistants
Our Program Assistants (PAs) help on our CanSkate programs. These PAs are volunteers and are often current skaters in the club. We welcome anyone with a skating background to PA on our CanSkate program. You will often see PAs:
Helping with set-up and take-down
Running the warm-up and cool down
Assisting skaters on and off the ice
Leading skaters from station to station
Helping skaters master new skills
Be a positive role model for our new skaters
