Registration

Who can register?

Any student (girl or boy) who lives in the Greater Latrobe School District can register. Wrestling is limited to children between 5 and 12 years old in Kindergarten through 6th grade. For the 2025-2026 season - If you are 12, you must turn 13 AFTER 1/1/2026.

When does registration typically happen?

Registration will open on online in August. We are holding two in person registrations night from 6p-8p on October 2nd & 7th.

It's a great chance to get questions answered, meet some coaches, and some of your new teammates. Sign up information is usually posted by early Fall.

What are the costs?

Registration cost is $50 per wrestler ($25 for each additional wrestler in the family). If the child needs a singlet, those typically run about $50-$75. Most kids will wear a singlet for a 1-3 years before needing another one. Your child will also need headgear (around $20-$35) and wrestling shoes (around $50-$75).

How long is the season?

The wrestling practice begins in Late September- Early October. Wrestling runs through early February. If your child moves on to advanced competition in Areas and eventually States, they will continue wrestling in March.

Are refunds available if my child doesn't like wrestling?

Wrestling isn’t for everyone. We understand that. If your child is a first time wrestler, you can request a full refund for your child within the first 2 weeks if wrestling isn’t for them.
