No Solicitation Stickers

While Gray Eagle HOA posts signage along streets indicating this is a "No Solicitation" neighborhood, it cannot legally prevent door-to-door solicitation in all cases.    

Door-to-door solicitors are required to register with the Fishers Police Department before canvassing neighborhoods.   On the other hand, groups expressing political or religious speech as well as non-profit organizations (e.g., scouting, youth sports, etc.) are exempt from registering.

If you prefer not to deal with door-to-door solicitors, stop by the Fishers Police Department to pickup a sticker like the one shown here and post it near your front doorbell.   

Registered solicitors who see the sticker should be aware not to ring or knock on your door.  If they do not comply or are not wearing an official photo ID badge issued by the city,  you can report that to City of Fishers.
