At age 11 Preston Woods had strolled, sauntered, ambled, tramped, tromped, stomped, trekked, strided, sashayed, glided, rambled, prowled, promenaded, and perambulated his way to the #1 ranked position of the 73yr and older class of the Power Walking Circuit of North America. Afterplateauing at a blistering world record pace of 5.6mph and winning 7 consecutive Silver Sneaker awards, given to the MVPw (Most Valuable Power Walker), the now 18yr old fleet footed phenom was ready to shuffle off to a new challenge. Preston laced up his custom Air Monarchs and smashed that cushy sole to the hair trigger responsive gas peddle of a 92' Honda Civic Lx. The tires squeal and so did the ladies; Preston ripped off the review mirror knowing he wasn't looking back - his power walking past was in the history books and now he was ready to seafoam civic his way onto the autocircuit.
He hunted his way to the top beginning with undercard races. Those wins didn't pay much. He was forced to hustle street races at night. They say the Fast and Furious franchise is loosely based off his life - especially all the good parts and none of the bad parts. The dangerous night escapades proved fruitful and he was able to upgrade from the 92' Honda to a 88' Nissan Sentra SE. He would soon garner the attention of other elite auto racing athletes such as Schumacher and Senna who took him under their wing, molding that talented lump of clay into a beautiful vase. A vase that was fast as fuck. Sponsorship soon followed and Preston found himself among the supreme elite of the Gran Potato Cup.
