Cooper's driving career started young as he manned a 9 hp John Deere 130 around his parent's back yard. He always had the speed to compete, but had trouble staying on the grass he was supposed to be cutting and out of the bushes. After duct taping a couple of bushes back together, his manager fired him from the lawn gig and Cooper was out of a ride. That all changed in 2001, when Cooper landed another ride in the form of a 77 hp, 1980 Mercedes Benz 300D. Reaching speeds of up to 35 mph in the neighborhoods, and occasionally crossing the elusive 70 mph (there was a tailwind that day) mark on freeways, Cooper thought he had finally found a ride capable of delivering the speed and power he deserved. This dream lasted until some ill timed donuts in the mud left him stranded with no transmission on the way home. It was not to be....until 2016, when a craigslist posting showing an offer too good to be true showed up. A 2001 Honda Civic with 127hp! And listed with a price he could afford. Surely this was a scam as the very rare and exotic "Purple Nurple" paint job was rarely seen on cars in such good condition. So far, Cooper has managed to keep this new dream car in a straight line and out of the bushes.
